If achieving security is where you're headed, recognizing insecurity is where you'd better be coming from.

The sentence above can be summarized in a proverbial manner, by saying: "To understand security, you must first understand insecurity." We are of a strong conviction that before one can build a secure foundation, they must initially be aware of how not to build it. Given that, we value the dispersal of cryptanalytical information to the public, and because the underlying mathematics can be overwhelming to many, we aim to share our research in an accessible, layman-oriented manner - hence, this standards-compliant site and the resources it links to. In particular, we're about research in cryptovirology.

If you use the navigation panel to the right, you can find out a bit more about cryptovirology, who we are, who is responsible for our founding, and some of our contributions in the ever-growing list, among other things. Oh, and if you hover over the links, a short description of what you'll find will pop up. Also, if you'd like to contact us, whether it be for information on consultation or a specific inquiry about our research, click on the "correspondence" link in the footer below. That should do it for now, so it's our hope that you'll be inspired to give cryptovirology an extra thought, after having perused this site. Cheers!
